File Level Backup (Server / NAS / Workstation)
- Your data is stored across three UK data centres in London, Manchester, and Leeds. Each site is fully resilient with dual power grids, redundant cooling, and strict environmental controls. Physical access is heavily restricted to authorised personnel only.
- All centres are ISO 27001 certified, ensuring best-practice security controls to protect your information assets.
365 Mailbox / OneDrive Teams / SharePoint backup
- Before backup, your data is secured at source with 256-bit encryption — the same standard used by banks, government, and the military. The inTEC Online Backup client then transfers the encrypted data to our UK data centres over a secure SSL connection.
- Once received, data is re-encrypted to 448-bit and stored in its encrypted state. A copy of this encrypted backup is then replicated to our other data centres.
- Your encryption key is set by you, ensuring only you can access the data. Please note: without this key, your data cannot be recovered.
Virtual machine replication
- Altaro Server Replication provides a reliable, cost-effective backup solution for virtual machines. Data is replicated locally and to inTEC’s servers, with physical seeding available for large initial backups.
- Altaro also supports local backups to NAS for fast restores, while maintaining both onsite and offsite copies — ensuring quick recovery and full disaster protection. Licenses are affordable and scalable for businesses of any size.
