Role Profile
- Job Title: IT Support Technician
- Base Location: Lingfield College, Surrey
- inTEC Brand: inTEC Education
- Hours Per Week: 40
- Annual Leave: 22
- Reports To: Service Manager
- Salary Per Annum: £26,500- £27,500
Day-To-Day Responsibilities

Resolving 1st line support tickets within the helpdesk
- Installing new software an upgrading existing applications
- Providing technical support for teachers and pupils
- Testing and fixing IT devices
- Maintaining the school’s network
- Routine maintenance of classroom IT
- Ensuring systems are safe for pupil use
- Maintenance and management of hardware peripherals
Person Attributes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to solve problems
- Confident working autonomously and as part of a team
- Attention to detail
- Prioritisation skills
- Passion for IT
- Willing to train and progress
Experience
- Experience in IT- evidence of home projects would be acceptable.
- Experience working in a customer facing role.
Qualifications
- Industry recognised certification in IT, such as Microsoft MS900 or CompTIA A+
- GCSE English and Maths
