The inTEC Group are delighted to have recently become a Patron of Kickstart – a Manchester-based social enterprise working with schools across the region to deliver sporting education to young people.

In 2026, Kickstart are celebrating 10 years as a leading sports education provider in Greater Manchester. As a Patron, the inTEC Group will be supporting the Kickstart team as they look to seize this opportunity to further grow their impact through the child-centred, community-driven approach which has underpinned their success to date.

The decision to partner with Kickstart was rooted in a clear alignment of values, as well as the utmost confidence in the proven impact of Kickstart’s work. Kickstart are partnered with 37 schools, providing PE Delivery, Breakfast and After-School Clubs, wraparound childcare and wider community work, with 7000 children benefiting from the high-quality, active education they offer every week.

Kickstart’s success is rooted in a great team of people. By limiting the number of schools they support, Kickstart have ensured that the partnerships they create are built on close, personal communication and the delivery of the very best value service to every school.

Kickstart is a family organisation at its core and continues to invest in the development of real education sector expertise, allowing them to offer significant added value to their schools through curriculum development, funding sourcing and CPD for school leaders. Strong value-add, driven by the depth and range of expertise of our people, is central to the inTEC offering, creating a real alignment of approach with the Kickstart team.
As well as being proud to invest in our local Manchester communities, the inTEC Group strongly believe in the power of sport and exercise to improve quality of life and achieve improved community outcomes. This has been demonstrated across our support for The Big Goal – an initiative to tackle youth homelessness through the power of football – as well as our support for Astley & Tyledsley Football Club, a grassroots Manchester football club with over 1000 active players across 50 teams. Becoming a Kickstart Patron strengthens this important commitment, as well as our deep connection to supporting the education sector, both through the high-quality services we deliver and the wider impact our work can have.

As Kickstart’s 10th Anniversary Year continues, we are delighted to be a part of the exciting plans the team have, and look forward to supporting Kickstart as their positive impact in our communities continues to advance.
