Role Profile
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Software Developer to join our dynamic team. The primary focus of this role will be to provide support to existing web customers and develop innovative web-based applications for new clients utilising cutting edge innovations in AI to deliver high calibre solutions. As a key contributor to our development team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our projects and delivering exceptional software solutions to our customers.
Day-To-Day Responsibilities
Customer Support:
- Collaborate with the support team to address and resolve issues reported by existing web customers promptly and efficiently.
- Debug and troubleshoot problems within web applications and Power Apps, ensuring smooth functionality and optimal performance.
Web Application Development:
- Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to gather requirements and specifications for new web-based applications.
- Develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable web applications using cutting-edge technologies and best practices.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the reliability and robustness of the applications.
AI Development:
- Design and develop AI-led solutions to assist internal processes and clients.
- Create innovative applications leveraging Generative AI models for intelligent outputs, such as:
- Automated content generation
- Predictive analytics
- Personalized user experiences
- Integrate AI algorithms into web-based platforms for seamless functionality.
- Optimize machine learning models for real-time performance.
- Ensure ethical AI practices in application design.
- Refine AI training data to improve algorithmic accuracy.
- Explore new frontiers in AI-driven automation and creativity.
Code Review and Documentation:
- Conduct code reviews to ensure compliance with coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines.
- Document all code changes, features, and functionality for future reference and knowledge sharing.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other developers.
- Clearly communicate technical concepts and ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Personal Attributes
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve software issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with team members and clients.
- Time management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proficiency in web development technologies, such as JavaScript and PHP, and modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js).
- A keen interest in Generative AI and how it can be used to help workplaces deliver more.
- Familiarity with backend technologies and databases (e.g., Node.js, Python, SQL) for web application development.
- Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
